Akdemistanbul Language Center will meet with foreign students with the Talaki Project aiming to teach Turkish

As Akdemistanbul Language Center, we provide Turkish education to approximately 5000 foreign students from 65 countries. Some of our students come because of the war or economic problems in their own countries, some of them come to study at university, and some of them are influenced by Turkish TV series. The financial situation of some of these students is not enough for them to receive education. In these cases, as Akdemistanbul, we try to help them as much as we can. The project was initiated by Ms. Aswan, a Syrian businesswoman, a woman of culture, in order to break the misconception that Syrian immigrants who come to Turkey to get away from difficult conditions, that is, our students, are constantly seen in a position of receiving aid from the state and to provide educational opportunities to all foreign students with insufficient financial situation. Within the scope of the project, a class of approximately 19 students from countries such as Syria, Palestine, Algeria, Congo and Sudan was opened for face-to-face education and a class of approximately 24 students from countries such as Syria, Iraq and Palestine was opened for online education. Our classes provide A1 level education based on the four basic skills of listening, reading, writing and speaking.
